Ebbco, Inc. Celebrates its 25th Anniversary
Ebbco, Inc. (New Baltimore, MI) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2008. Ebbco was founded by Sandra and Ed Bourgeois in August of 1983. Housed in a 2000 sq ft building, Ebbco started business as a distributor of fluid filters for a variety of industries. During the last 25 years, the company has grown to be a designer and manufacturere of fluid filtration systems and filter vessels primarily for the metalworking industries. Products are sold directly to OEMs and through an extensive distributor network to end-users.
As the company grew, it moved a number of times to offices in a variety of areas in Macomb County, MI, until the year 2000, when Ebbco broke ground for its own 37,000 sq ft headquarters building. Located in New Baltimore, MI, the facilities, including headquarter offices, manufacturing and warehousing, are all in one place. With this larger facility designed especially for its needs, Ebbco is able to better serve its growing customer base that now includes international distribution.
Early in 2008 Ebbco completed a 5000 sq ft addition for increased storage. As the company grows, projected plans call for an additional 10,000 sq ft addition. To better serve its customers, Ebbco entered into a joint venture with ACM Technologies, Forest Hill, MD, in 2007. Besides the Michigan and Maryland locations, Ebbco is now able to offer DI Regeneration Services in Plantation, FL and Los Angeles, CA.
Ebbco personnel will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary throughout 2008, as well as at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago from September 8 – 13, 2008. Ebbco personnel will be in two booths: D-4008 for EDM Products and B-6286 for Metalworking Products. Ebbco Systems can be seen operating in a number of booths at IMTS in EDM, Grinding and Jet Cutting applications.
