Drilling On Flat or Curved Steel

The significantly lightweight MagDrill Disruptor 30 from Magswitch requires no electricity to drill through a wide range of flat or curved steel surfaces.
The MagDrill Disruptor 30 from Magswitch uses a uniquely flexible drill base for a superior grip on flat and round surfaces and a novel pivoting magnet base design. This significantly lighter tool requires no electricity for a controlled, powerful hold on a wide range of flat steel or curved steel surfaces. The magnet turns 100 percent off and does not accumulate magnetic material after drilling.

Magswitch Technology, Inc. (Lafayette, CO) offers “shallow field” magnetic technology in their MagDrill Disruptor 30 with added patent-pending pipe conformability. The uniquely flexible drill base is capable of superior grip on flat and round surfaces, with its novel pivoting magnet base design. Witness a significantly lighter tool that requires no electricity for a controlled, powerful hold on a wide range of steel – flat or curved surfaces! These tools will reset the performance hurdle by setting a new standard for magnetic drills. Compared to competitor drill bases, the MagDrill Disrupter 30 delivers better results on thinner steel.

The progressive actuation of the magnetic force provides precise positioning before applying the full magnet hold. Importantly, the Magnet turns 100 percent off and does not accumulate magnetic material from the drill site. Safety is a priority as well as an integral part of this machine’s design. The locking feature of the base prevents magnet arrays from deactivating during use to ensure safer operation of the tool.
