DoALL Sawing Products, a leading manufacturer of industrial sawing solutions, has released the DoALL Tilt Frame TF-2028M. The next-generation tilt-frame band saw is designed to deliver higher productivity, longer blade life, and improved operator safety for structural cutting applications.

Engineered for performance and ease of operation, the TF-2028M combines rugged mechanical design with intelligent automation features. Fabricators can run the machine in traditional manual operation or use advanced AI-assisted cutting modes.

Advanced Operator Control and Monitoring

DoALL Sawing Products TF-2028M tilt-frame band saw with AI Smart Mode
DoALL Tilt Frame TF-2028M is the next-generation of tilt-frame band saws, designed to deliver higher productivity, longer blade life, and improved operator safety for structural cutting applications.

The TF-2028M features an operator control console positioned on the right side of the machine for convenient access without interfering with operation. At the center of the control system is a PLC touchscreen workstation. This interface allows operators to switch between manual operation and AI-driven cutting modes.

The touchscreen continuously monitors and displays key operating parameters, including band speed, head feed rate, and head position. Built-in machine diagnostics also display errors directly on the screen. As a result, operators can identify and resolve issues quickly while reducing downtime.

Smart AI Cutting Modes

A standout feature of the DoALL Tilt Frame TF-2028M is AI Smart Mode. This mode automatically configures feed rates based on preset cutting patterns and known material shapes. Operators can choose from three production settings:

  • ECO Mode – prioritizes blade life by running slower feed rates and cutting speeds
  • STANDARD Mode – provides balanced performance for everyday cutting operations
  • HP (High Production) Mode – increases cutting speeds for maximum throughput

Operators can fine-tune these cutting rates by ±10% while the machine is running. This flexibility helps optimize performance across different materials and production demands.

Built for Accuracy and Long Blade Life

The TF-2028M features a precision-engineered saw head mounted on linear rails integrated into the machine’s heavy-duty frame. The head is designed with a 7-degree cant. This allows structural materials to enter and exit the cut smoothly while reducing blade stress and extending band life.

Power is delivered through a direct-driven band drive system. A VFD-controlled electric motor connects through a gear reduction unit directly to the drive wheel. This design eliminates belt slippage and provides consistent torque to the blade for reliable cutting performance.

Operator-Focused Design

To improve setup speed and ease of operation, the TF-2028M is equipped with a laser line material guide. This feature allows operators to position material quickly and accurately before making a cut.

The machine also includes a programmed blade change mode that locks out the band drive during blade replacement. This safety-focused design allows a single operator to change the blade safely from floor level without climbing onto the machine.

TF-2028M

With its combination of intelligent automation, rugged construction, and operator-focused safety features, the DoALL Tilt Frame TF-2028M represents the next step in structural sawing productivity for modern fabrication shops.
