Tyler Machine Tool Company Now Part of DMG/Mori Seiki

Tyler Machine Tool Company is now part of the DMG/ Mori Seikinamed direct sales organization for in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

After being represented by the company for 35 years, DMG/Mori Seiki takes Tyler Machine tool company under their umbrella.

DMG/Mori Seiki (Hoffman Estates, IL) recently announced that Tyler Machine Tool Company (South Windsor, CT) would be a direct sales organization for the machine tool builder.

 

 

Tyler Machine Tool, with offices in Seabrook, NH, has represented Mori Seiki Ltd (now DMG/Mori Seiki) for more than 35 years. Herb Tyler founded the family-owned business in 1977.

According to Glenn Tyler, the vice president of Tyler Machine Tool, the current organization and staff of 38 will remain intact at both New England locations, as will the Tyler company name.

“Nothing will change regarding day-to-day operations,” Tyler said. “But this will definitely be a big win for the customers because of the additional resources and closer working relationship we will have with both the builders and the factories.”

Mark Mohr, the president of the company, says manufacturers can expect an even higher level of support through this new organization.

“Tyler Machine Tool is very highly respected distributor in New England. Bringing the success of that team under the umbrella of DMG/Mori Seiki helps us to achieve a truly seamless organization, directly connected to the customer.”

Tyler Machine Tool Company provides sales, engineering and support for the company’s machine tools in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
