Crompion International Hires Metals Industry Rising Star to Manage Sales
Crompion International, LLC (Baton Rouge, LA) recently announced it has hired metals industry rising star Brent Wilson. The move comes as part of the company’s focus on creating customer solutions by expanding its team of industry experts and metallurgists to assist with customer needs.
“Brent joins the Crompion International team at a crucial time, as we have begun to establish ourselves in the global metals and solutions industry with a full rebrand and sales force equipped to deliver customer satisfaction,” stated George M. Schaffer, president of Crompion International.
“Brent brings with him a strong background in the metals industry with knowledge of sales management and both strategic and business development. We could not be more enthusiastic to have Brent managing our sales team during a key period of growth.”
Wilson will serve as Crompion International’s sales manager and will be essential in ensuring sales success in both domestic and international stainless steel markets. With nine years of experience in the metals industry, he has overseen multiple sales and strategic growth divisions for metals industry producers and processers.

Wilson joins the Crompion International team after spending the past seven years in both strategic growth and management positions for Jemison Metals, a leading supplier of carbon flat-rolled products located in Birmingham, AL.
In 1999, Wilson received dual Bachelor Degrees in Managerial Economics and Philosophy from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He also received a Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 2004.
