All-In-One Solutions
BLM GROUP technologies are integrated in a single management suite that enables multi-level machine connectivity. The Prometheus Manufacturing Execution System (MES) actively collects data and provides insight into optimizing the workflow of connected machines on the shop floor. Tube Lasers
Supporting tube diameters from 0.5” to 24”, the BLM GROUP tube laser product line is all-encompassing and bustling with options for the specific needs of each individual customer. Proprietary features, like Active Scan for automatically identifying and compensating for tube material abnormalities, and Active Weld for automatically identifying and compensating for weld seams, play an integral role in scrap reduction and bottlenecks in the production process. Automated thread insertion for rivets on the LT7 or drill and tap on the LT8.20, along with a little ingenuity and creative thinking, make weldless assemblies a reality – a critical factor for eliminating secondary processes downstream. Tube Benders
Completely connected to tube lasers via software, BLM GROUP all-electric tube benders are the perfect complement to part processing. VGPNext software works collaboratively with ArTube to share bending parameters between machines so that part cutting parameters can be automatically calculated and adjusted for the bend process downstream. In addition, these all-electric systems eliminate the necessity to manually adjust the clamp die, pressure die and mandrel position, which allows the control of all machine components to support an automated process for machine collaboration. This allows even first-time operators to work proficiently without interruption or risk of error.
5-Axis Lasers
The LT-FREE is a 5-axis laser cell that is capable of cutting any three-dimensional metal profile, including complex part geometries and variable thicknesses, as well as ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It excels at cutting pre-processed parts, including bent, hydroformed, extrusions, drawn, flat or stamped tubes and sheets. The robots that accompany the cell eliminate the need for fixturing, and significantly speed up the cutting process with precision, repeatability and extremely high quality that is ideal for processing parts with extreme tolerance thresholds, such as automotive and aerospace.
Sheet Lasers and Press Brakes
The sheet laser lineup from BLM GROUP supports powers up to 20 kW and pallet changes in as little as 9 seconds. The laser cutting head automatically adapts to the thickness of the material to ensure constant quality for clean and precise cuts on a wide variety of thicknesses and materials. The sheet lasers make an ideal combination with BLM GROUP press brakes, with its extensive lineup that supports from 22 to 310-ton forming. The innovative design of the ProBend E-Series results in a highly precise, reliable and high-speed production system. The direct drive torque motor maximizes efficiency, repeatability and reliability.
