Concept Machine Tool Holds First Annual Technology Day Steakfest
Concept Machine Tool (Delafield, WI) hosted its first Open House/ Steakfest May 12-13 at its Delafield facility. “We have hosted our Steakfest at our Minneapolis headquarters for 25 years,” says Concept Machine Tool owner Craig Conlon. “We felt the time was right to introduce this tradition at our sister location and couldn’t be happier with the result.” The two-day event featured some of the industry’s largest brands and machinery, including Mitsubishi EDM and Waterjet, Kitamura, Milltronics, Chermle, Miyano, Ziess measuring equipment and many more.
More than 420 people poured in throughout the event despite poor weather conditions. Attendees were able to talk to product experts, discuss advances in technology and learn how new technology could improve their current processes. Patrick Simon, marketing manager for Mitsubishi EDM and Waterjet commented, “This was a great event for our company because it required minimum investment but provided exceptional exposure. Concept provides the market with so many manufacturing technologies, that we can cross market with customers who are currently using other products they offer. Walking through this facility feels as if you’re at a tradeshow.”
Mitsubishi-sponsored Joe Gibbs Racing supplied the #18 M&M car for display. Attendees were entered for a chance to be part of a JGR pit crew at the Chicago Speedway in July.
