In addition, maximum spindle speeds of 120,000 utilizing oil-type external cooling are now available for all Model HT 25 S 60 spindles. Utilizing synchronous, DC motor technology, these spindles suit machining applications involving micro-milling and drilling tools, as well as engraving and fine milling, these new, more compact spindles feature high rigidity and ultra precision (less then 2 microns run-out) to dramatically enhance surface quality, machining accuracy, and reduce the need for secondary operations.
