CNC PUNCH/PLASMA MACHINE PRODUCES LASER-LIKE COMPLEX CONTOURS
Boschert USA's Boschert CombiCut® series of CNC punch/plasma represents an economical, cost effective state-of-the-art solution to producing laser-like complex internal and external contours in steel sheet of up to ½ in in thickness with a working range of up to 60 in x 120 in.
The CNC portion of the machine features punching capacity of up to 4 in diameter and 36 tons (50 ton optional) with a maximum workpiece weight of 440 lb. Available in either single, twin or tri-head configurations with either tool rotation or Boschert?s own multi-tool Revo-Tool® solution, the CombiCut® allows unsurpassed plasma cutting, punching and forming. The separate frame of the plasma head allows independent and vibration-free operation.
The new CombiCut® multi-head machines, developed jointly with the fine plasma technology firm of Kjellberg, Boschert GmbH developed a cost effective alternative to the combination punch/laser machines.
The recent advances in the fine plasma technology led to the development of the Hypertherm® HPR130 HyPerformance HiFocus® plasma system. This outstanding merger between Boschert CNC punching and the Hypertherm® fine focus plasma system, benefits users with high productivity customized to the individual application. The exceptional finished part quality is characterized by dross-free, fine tolerance precision cut angle and straightness. Additionally, due to recent HyperTherm?s® technological advances in FineFocus® plasma technology, it is now possible to cut even very thin gauge sheet metal while realizing very high quality and productivity with very low consumable costs.
