Clow Modern Metalworks marks a new chapter for the Minnesota-based manufacturer as the company begins operating under the name Clow, supported by the tagline Modern Metalworks, alongside the launch of its new website, clowmetalworks.com

The rebrand reflects the company’s continued evolution and the breadth of its in-house capabilities. It also reinforces a consistent focus on dependable execution for short- to medium-run OEM programs.

“We are early into our 3rd generation at Clow,” said Reggie Clow, second-generation owner. “I still remember when we started welding back in the mid-70s. Over the years, we’ve grown well beyond a simple metal stamping company. Our intent is to provide the wide range of capabilities our customers are asking for and to keep evolving alongside them.”

While the name is changing, Clow’s ownership, leadership team, and commitment to customers remain firmly in place. The company continues to operate from its Merrifield facility, delivering integrated manufacturing capabilities that include metal stamping, laser cutting, CNC machining, forming, welding, assembly, and in-house tooling.

The rebranded Clow Modern Metalworks houses an expansive range of equipment, enabling capabilities such as stamping, welding, laser cutting, machining, forming, and in-house tooling.

“In my lifetime, we’ve always been more than a stamping company,” said Gabriel R. Clow, third-generation owner. “The changes I’ve seen in the last decade alone have been significant. We’ve expanded our capabilities, invested in automation, and continued to raise our standards, but the culture hasn’t changed. It’s still the same high expectations, the same pride in our work, and the same energy on the shop floor. I’m excited about what we’re building for the next generation.”

The new website offers a clearer view of the company’s services, industries served, and connected workflow. It also makes it easier for customers to evaluate fit, request a quote, and connect with the right contacts.

The Clow name and new website took effect March 17, 2026.
