CenterLine Names Vice President and General Counsel
CenterLine (Windsor) Limited (Windsor, ON) added David Mueller to the position of vice president and general counsel. In this role, he will serve as a member of their executive committee, reporting to chief executive officer Michael Beneteau and will lead all legal and risk management matters, steer various global growth initiatives and help drive strategic planning for the company. “We are building on over 60 years of leadership and innovation in the welding and automation industry and remain very excited about its future,” said Beneteau. “I am excited to work with David and the entire team as we stay committed to ensuring our continued success in today’s complex global marketplace. Prior to joining the company, Mueller spent nearly five years at Valiant TMS, a global tooling and automation company, as a member of their executive leadership team in a corporate development and general counsel role where he supported their chief executive officer and board in a variety of global growth mandates. He is a seasoned executive, leader, strategist and lawyer who combines a unique combination of business and legal experience to help organizations reach their potential. “I am honored and excited to join this team,” commented Mueller. “The commitment of the people here to integrity, innovation and customer-focused service is truly special. Mueller started his legal career at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP (Toronto, ON) before joining Shibley Righton LLP (Windsor, ON), where he worked as a business law associate advising clients on a variety of commercial matters prior to joining Valiant TMS. He holds a Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and Juris Doctor and MBA (JD/MBA) degrees from the University of Windsor. He currently serves on the board of the Windsor Essex Community Foundation and previously served as a director of the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator.
