The GRL Series of industrial bearing wheel covers is designed for a wide range of applications. Typical uses include track wheels and guide rollers, components within conveyors and automation systems, and applications across general industry. The series is available in multiple shapes, sizes, and materials, with surface options that include flat, crowned, flanged (single and double), and grooved designs in both U-shaped and V-shaped configurations.
Flat bearing cover guide rollers feature a smooth surface and are well suited for medium-duty applications such as sliding doors and conveyor transport. Crowned surfaces are designed to support similar medium-duty uses, while flange-style rollers with a two-flange design provide additional guidance and stability. These rollers are available in steel, hardened steel, plastic, and stainless steel, and can be used with polished square steel bar for rail applications. Hardened steel rollers offer enhanced wear resistance and protection against chips and debris.
U- and V-grooved styles are suited for medium-load applications including sliding doors and carrier transport. These versions are also available in steel, hardened steel, plastic, and stainless steel to meet a range of environmental and performance requirements.
Most bearing wheel cover assemblies include a cover, snap ring, and radial ball bearing, with an optional stud available for mounting when specified. Standard outside diameter sizes range from 22 mm to 70 mm. Covers are manufactured from nylon, urethane, steel, or stainless steel, with material selection based on application needs such as chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, or corrosion resistance.
