Applied Manufacturing Technologies, Inc. (Orion, MI) acquires K-R Automation (Warren, MI), an automation controls design, engineering and panel manufacturing company. K-R Automation is being folded into AMT?s existing operations. AMT will maintain K-R?s current manufacturing and engineering facility at Centerwood Drive in Warren. John Frank, former president and CEO of K-R Automation, now assumes a new role on AMT?s executive team, reporting to Mike Jacobs, president and CEO of AMT. www.appliedmfg.com
