FLW ENSISe Series
High-Quality, High-Precision Fiber Laser Welder

AMADA engineered the FLW ENSISe Series fiber laser welder for manufacturers who require exceptional precision, stability, productivity, and safety across a wide range of welding applications. Built on AMADA’s advanced fiber laser technology platform and operating within a full safety enclosure, the FLW ENSISe expands welding capability while maintaining the consistent quality demanded in precision fabrication environments.

The system’s fiber laser technology enables precise, high-speed welding, even when processing highly reflective materials such as brass and copper—materials that traditionally present challenges for many welding systems. By maintaining stable energy delivery and optimized beam control, the FLW ENSISe supports reliable results across a broader range of materials and applications.

A key innovation in the system is its patented rotating lens technology. Rather than directing the laser beam at a single fixed point along the weld path, the rotating lens moves the beam in a controlled circular motion within a small area during welding. This beam-weaving effect improves weld stability while allowing the system to bridge larger or uneven gap sizes.

The result is a cleaner, more uniform weld profile with excellent penetration and reduced risk of defects. The rotating beam also distributes heat more evenly across the weld zone, producing precisely defined weld edges with minimal spatter or unnecessary material buildup. Improved heat control can reduce post-weld finishing requirements while supporting higher throughput and production efficiency. For applications requiring filler material, the system supports push-pull wire management and control to assist large-gap welding.

To ensure consistent weld quality, the FLW ENSISe incorporates several advanced process control technologies. The integrated NC Beam Focus feature automatically adjusts the lens position to the optimal setting based on the welding conditions, while intelligent setup tools—including AI-assisted parameter optimization—help simplify setup and accelerate process development.

The system also utilizes a high-resolution CCD camera that continuously monitors the weld path and compensates for deviations from the programmed trajectory. This real-time monitoring improves weld accuracy and helps reduce the potential for defects caused by part positioning variations or inconsistencies in the workpiece.

Together, these technologies allow the FLW ENSISe Series to deliver the speed, flexibility, weld quality, and operator protection required for demanding manufacturing environments. The system enables manufacturers to produce high-quality, high-precision welds that are difficult—or impossible—to achieve with conventional welding methods, while improving productivity and process stability on the production floor.

ORSUS AJe Series
Cost-Effective, High-Performance 6kW and 8kW Fiber Laser Cutting Systems

AMADA designed the ORSUS AJe Series fiber laser cutting systems for fabricators who demand consistent performance, reliability, and productivity throughout the life of the machine. Available in 6kW and 8kW configurations, the ORSUS Series combines advanced fiber laser technology with more than eight decades of AMADA machine tool expertise. Engineered for demanding production environments, the system delivers dependable performance while supporting long-term value and a strong return on investment.

The systems are equipped with AMADA’s AMNC 4ie control, which provides an intuitive touchscreen interface while integrating machine monitoring and process management tools. This control platform helps simplify operation while maintaining stable cutting performance.

The ORSUS Series also incorporates AMADA’s Laser Integration System, which includes technologies designed to monitor and stabilize the cutting process while protecting key machine components. Features such as the i-Optics Sensor and i-Process Monitoring analyze operating conditions during cutting and automatically adjust parameters to maintain optimal performance. These capabilities help reduce downtime and extend component life.

Advanced beam control further improves system performance. A built-in mode converter optimizes the beam shape based on the material and thickness being processed. This allows the system to achieve high-speed cutting on thin materials while maintaining the power and stability required for thicker plate applications.

Additional cutting technologies such as Clean Fast Cut (CFC) and Easy Fast Cut (EZFC) help increase processing speed while improving edge quality and reducing dross formation. By minimizing secondary finishing operations and reducing assist gas consumption, these technologies can help lower overall operating costs.

Supported by AMADA’s industry-leading service and support network, the ORSUS AJe Series helps fabricators maintain consistent production while protecting long-term equipment value. More than a laser system, ORSUS represents the confidence that comes from choosing a machine—and a partner—built to maximize productivity.
