Wiegel Expands Manufacturing in Mexico with AIDA Servo Press
AIDA-America, metal stamping press manufacturer in Dayton, OH, USA, is proud to support Wiegel, a global provider of mass-production metal stamping solutions, serving industries including automotive, appliance, aerospace, construction, lighting, e-mobility, energy, datacenters, and telecommunications. Wiegel recently completed factory acceptance of a two-point AIDA direct drive servo press for its new Silao, GTO, Mexico facility to help support manufacturing expansion initiatives.
This new 300 Metric ton AIDA servo press will support Wiegel’s high-speed and heavy-tonnage stamping applications. Equipped with an integrated tonnage monitor, die protection, and custom bolster and slide machining, the press features an Allen-Bradley servo control system for ease of operation. This investment strengthens Wiegel’s ability to provide localized, high-quality stamping services in Mexico while maintaining the engineering support its customers expect.
