Abtex Hires New Design Engineer
Abtex Corporation (Dresden, NY) has hired Josh Prescott as a design engineer to support their customer base and to help direct the future of their equipment designs. Prescott brings more than a decade of experience in product design and development for leading technology companies. Most recently he served as the project manager and lead mechanical engineer for HSTAR Technologies (Cambridge, MA). He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Boston University and bachelor’s in assistive and universal design from Hampshire College.
Abtex Corporation provides integrated brush/machine deburring systems to the North American manufacturing industry, including filament brushes and custom-designed deburring machines for a wide variety of machined-part, aluminum-extrusion, fine-blanked, and powdered-metal applications. Customers include manufacturers such as automotive Tier Two and Tier Three parts producers.
