In 2025, Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions celebrates 75 years of material handling innovation.

Founded in 1950 by Charles T. Jorgensen, Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions celebrates its 75th year of manufacturing industry leadership and innovation as a single source for integrated conveyor, filtration, and chip processing systems.

Originally founded as a manufacturer of overhead conveyors, Jorgensen quickly pivoted to metal belt conveyors following requests from local machine tool builders and has been continuously serving the machine tool industry since. Among its notable innovations are the EcoFilter® filtration conveyor, MunchMan® hinged-steel dual-belt conveyor and FlexFiltration featuring PermaClean coolant tank systems. All of which provide cost-effective chip and coolant handling solutions that contribute significantly to overall sustainable manufacturing operations.

“From its beginnings, Jorgensen has maintained a commitment to the continuous improvement of its products, services, and manufacturing techniques,” said former owner and grandson of the founder, Chuck D’Amico. “Customers across the globe have come to rely on Jorgensen’s strong technical support, quality workmanship, and competitive pricing.”

With expertly designed and configured systems from Jorgensen, today’s manufacturers can efficiently manage metal chips and sludge, boosting their profitability. The company’s complete chip processing solutions enhance machining efficiency and improve recycling values, while eliminating the need for unproductive manual intervention. By integrating filtration systems with chip processing, companies significantly increase their bottom line through coolant reuse and reclamation.

In recent years, Jorgensen has expanded its global footprint by establishing international partnerships and growing its network of representatives across North America. Their global relations and forward-thinking solutions have positioned Jorgensen for continued growth within various industries.

Jorgensen has grown by prioritizing employees and emphasizing career development through on-the-job training. In addition to investments made that benefit both Jorgensen’s employee-owners and the organization itself, Jorgensen plans to make more capital investments to further increase production efficiency and expand product lines. These investments will also boost the company’s capacity for growth and support its ongoing commitment to exceeding customer expectations for quality and competitive pricing.

“With continued investments in production operations and a solid ongoing business plan in place along with steadfast employee dedication, the next 75 years and beyond look bright for Jorgensen,” said current Jorgensen President Karl Kleppek. “Working together, we’ll ensure the productivity and business success of our customers.”

Furthering their commitment to employees and customers, in 2024 Jorgensen transitioned to 100% employee ownership within the Innovance ESOP. Innovance is the holding company for a portfolio of five employee-owned manufacturing brands located in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The strategic purchase of Jorgensen created a powerhouse of 170 combined years of innovation and technological refinement with Jorgensen joining ALMCO, Lou-Rich, Mass Finishing Inc., and Panels Plus.

“With Jorgensen’s long history of product innovation and exceptional customer service and support, we are excited for the opportunities they bring to our enterprise,” said Merritt Becker, Innovance CEO. “Jorgensen’s strategic approach within the manufacturing market dovetails perfectly with the Innovance company core competencies and values. They continue to prove themselves as a leader in customer experiences and innovations”.
